Known for its impeccable service and comfort level, this personable hotel is as classically chic as it is cozy. Modern wood headboards have a lily-of-the-valley (muguet) motif, and bright bathrooms have vintage-style washstands and Italian showers. Rooms are relatively large for Paris, and the triples are downright spacious. Five doubles have a great view of the Eiffel Tower, two others of Les Invalides; needless to say, they book up months in advance. The others, which are less expensive, look out on either the quiet street or the courtyard. Two handicap-accessible rooms on the ground floor face directly into a small but lush garden.
