There’s an underground feel to this sprawling venue near Gare de Lyon, a vast multidisciplinary arts center with its own radio station, exhibition spaces, and a food hall set in disused SNCF hangars. The food court is the place to get delicious Chinese, Mexican, and Central African Republic dishes, plus coffee and cake for dessert. Outside, converted buses hawk everything from British fish and chips, to ham and cheese crepes, to fresh oysters, with seating at vintage benches and tables. Just make sure you get your drink before you order food. None of the stalls sell beverages, and it’s annoying to have to leave your hot food tray for some water or beer.
