Why Advertise in the Frommer's Guidebooks?

Advertising in Frommer's Destination Guides allows you the opportunity to place your message in our 7 million books in over 300 titles. It is an invaluable way to reach the travel audience before, during and after their vacation.

What Are the Advertising Opportunities?

We will allow four ad pages (8 sides) per book. Ad programs are available for All Domestic titles, All International titles, or both.

What Is the Publishing Schedule?

New annual editions start to publish in June of each year and continue through September of that same year. Materials are due by June 15 to allow enough time for proofs and changes.

What Are the Ad Specs?

All ads should have a 1/4" bleed (outside the trim) all the way around and a 1/4" margin within the trim (no text/art within 1/4" of the trim, to ensure that nothing gets cut off). Ads must be provided in an open file (Illustrator, Quark) and as a pdf, along with a hard copy, color proof. Color ads must be 4-color process only.

• Portable Guides: 4 1/4 x 7 3/8
• Irreverent, Memorable Walks: 4 7/16 x 8
• For Dummies: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
