Eurofly's offer of a round-trip flight to Rome in April for $399 including fuel surcharge, looks better with every day

As of today, Friday, February 22, April seats on Eurofly are still available, round-trip from New York to Rome, for only $399, including fuel surcharge. And the fact that fuel surcharge is included in that price makes the offer even more remarkable.

With oil selling for over $100 a barrel, one trans-Atlantic airline after another is increasing the cost of its fuel surcharge. On Thursday, February 21, British Airways announced that its fuel surcharge for a nine-hour flight would go up to $260, round-trip. Assuming that the Eurofly fuel surcharge will soon increase to that same level, you're paying the equivalent of a $139 for round-trip airfare to Rome, plus fuel surcharge.

April is a spectacular month in the Eternal City and $399 is probably the lowest price ever for going there round-trip in the spring. Remember, however, that the rate is available only on the internet (www.euroflyusa.com) and goes up by $20 if you book instead via the airline's phone number (800/459-0581).
