An Avalanche of Seasonal Packages at Unseasonably Low Prices: $499 for a Week in Austria, $679 for France and More

Now's the time to wax those skis in preparation for some midwinter savings from Ski-Europe and their "Super Ski Weeks" packages. All deals include roundtrip airfare, lodgings in two-, three-, or four-star resorts, morning meals, transfers or rental car and taxes. Lift tickets (and hot chocolate) are extra and individual deals are for specific weekends from December through March, so not all dates are available.

Here's a selection of some of the current deals. Prices are for NYC departures, but other gateways are available.

  • Andorra: Hotel Roc del Sola from $689

  • Chamonix, France: Hotel Point Isabelle from $679
  • Innsbruck, Austria: Hotel Tautermann from $499
  • Interlaken, Switzerland: Chalet-Hotel Oberland from $689
  • Courmayeur, Italy: Hotel Select from $679

It's relatively easy to search for all available packages online (www.ski-europe.com). Just click on the link under "Super Ski Weeks," which will take to you a page where you select either the resort or country, the month you want to travel and the price range, then submit to get a list of all available deals that fit your criteria. To see a complete list per country, it's best to select the country from the drop down menu and the highest price range ($1,289 and under).

According one of the company's representatives, these deals do sell out rather quickly, especially the cheapest packages. If the deal you want is no longer available, we suggest submitting the online form to have a reservation call you who should be able to assemble an affordable package.
