I am travelling to Siem Reap for 4 days at the end of November/beginning of December 2010.
Does anyone know the status of the restoration at the main temple at Angkor Wat? Will it be finished by then? I have read some reports that it should be finished "sometime in 2010."
I went to Angkor a few months ago and restorations are all over the site, one temple in Angkor Thom supporse to finish end of 2010. Angkor Wat is huge temple and green scaftfolding are all over the area blocked our nice pictures. Italian goverment is supporting several spots of it and World Monument Fund will complete eastern galleries soon I wish.
