I am looking for a luxury hotel  in Agra that is not an Oberoi or Taj  or Aman. I do not care about 24 hour room service but do like comfort so b&bs will be fine marble bathrooms are fin

I am looking for a luxury hotel in Agra that is not an Oberoi or Taj or Aman. I do not care about 24 hour room service but do like comfort so b&bs will be fine marble bathrooms are fin but not required pool is a must. 200-500 dollars a night.

Its winters in North India, I doubt if hotels will have a functioning pool. I'll go take a look at some of the 5 star properties here in Delhi and get back to you.

When are you flying over and for how long? I ask because you might want to spend a night at Agra and then proceed to other lesser known places, which aren't too far. For example, you could also stay at the Sariska Fort Palace (http://www.planeteyetraveler.com/2010/05/26/the-life-of-a-raja-beckons-at-the-sariska-palace/).
