Organised or taylored by yourself? . If you decide to plan youself the itinerary, do not forget Cairns and Uluru in Australia and Rotorua and Queensland in NZ. If you like landscapes you must see Mt.Cook, too,  between Queensland and Christchurch.

Hi 2Luvva.

Look at Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT).  Their Ultimate Australia tour could be just what you're looking for.  OAT's groups are always very small - never more than 16 travelers.  It is our favorite company to travel with.  (In fact, we just booked our 7th trip with OAT for next spring.)

Another option would be the Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji tour offered by Grand Circle Travel (GCT) - their sister company.  GCT has a maximum of 38 travelers, so their groups are always larger than OAT tours, but smaller than the competition.  (We have taken 4 trips with GCT.)

We have traveled extensively with both companies and have always had excellent tour guides and have shared the tours with some very interesting people.  Both companies offer great value tours and cater to seniors.  Ages usually range from around 50 - 70.

If you have any questions about Australia or New Zealand, or traveling with OAT or GCT, feel free to contact me at: shelsandy@hotmail.com.
