Hi,  I'm also planning a trip to the Turks & Caicos.  Were you able to bring in your own snacks, etc. on your trip?

We are going in November & I was wondering if you were able to bring in food?  If so, what kind & do you know if it can be homemade?  Thank you--

Only the classic version. Spam Light does not travel well. I have heard that small quantities of Hickory Smoke Spam are okay, though.

That doesn't serve me well, I can only eat Spam Light.  Geeze!   Wonder if they'll allow Light Corned Beef from Argentina.

We will be going to T&C for the first time in May and will bring a suitcase of food items.  We have gone several years to Anguilla and have brought frozen steaks, sausages, etc.  Packed in a soft-sided cooler with ice blocks....they never even defrost after the long trip and ferry ride from st. martin to anguilla!

Yes, yes, yes. :-)

We've been packing non-parishables to the Turks and Caicos for the last 13 years. We've taken canned meats, canned vegetables, you name it.

Remember that any liquids need to travel in a checked bag.
