We are planning on cruising to the Eastern Caribbean next year.  One of our stops is Turks & Caicos, which we have never been to.  If you have there within the past year, what is there to see/do?  We are not into snorkeling, but love the beach and sightseeing.

I was on a Princess Cruise in May and the first stop was in Turks/Caicos.  If the beach is what you want you are in luck. About a mile up the road is Govenors Beach. A great place to hang out for the little bit of time you have there. There are taxi right at the cruise ship terminal that will take you. The fare is $5.00 person. We walked instead. it is to the left as you leave the terminal. You can rent beach chairs the for a small fee. Water is clear and very calm. You should enjoy it very much.

Thanks for your reply back.

We want to go to Turks and Caicos, and all the ships we are checking out have that as one of the ports.  Depending upon which ships itinerary we take, the other ports are St. Thomas, San Juan, & St. Maarten, and their "own" island/port.
