Hello -

Any suggestions on which is better for a couple in their early 30s going the first weekend in Feb.? Looking to spend four days at either The Sands Grace Bay or Royal West Indies. We want a place that is secluded, but still within a decent walking distance of local food, not overcrowded. We may get a rental car, so if one of the above is far superior but also no where near anything, please let me know.

Also, any ideas on the best places for Whale watching on land? I heard of Ike and Donkey...is that by either of the two hotels above?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Hi Maxv23, there are loads of great options to consider in the Grace Bay area and even other areas withing Providenciales (and even throughout the many family islands like North Caicos, Middle Caicos, Grand Turk, South Caicos, Salt Cay).  Sands and Royal West Indies are nice choices, and there are others as well that have a very quiet and laid back / relaxing ambiance, but lots of things within a short walking distance.  Le Vele is one to consider for example, folks that I tell about that property (and others like that) seem to enjoy it.

Whale Watching?  Gotta get over to Salt Cay for that, what an exciting trip that will be!
