2 weeks mid Feb - Sr Couple looking for small boutique hotels with friendly staff.  love to snorklel/ dive. Love ruins. Would like quiet setting, good bed and restaurant within driving distance.&

On San Pedro (Ambergis caye) I would recommend Mata Chica, or inland i would recommend Chaa Creek. Both are superb, but it is hard to find somewhere which is close to both the reef and the Mayan ruins. Hope this helps. Latin odyssey

Thank you, L. O. Will ck the places you mention. We will have a car part of the time. Going to Tikal in G. and Lamanai ruins. For snorkeling, or easy dive, any suggestions? Thinking of Caye Caulker, finding alot Sold out.
