Need help with itinerary for Caye Caulker, Cayo District, Placencia in 10 days!!!

Need itinerary advice for 10 days in belize.... Couple in 30s most interested in:  ::the best snorkelling to be fouND :: jungle /MAYAN ruins adventures :: maybe even swimming with wharle sharks.

Need help with itinerary for Caye Caulker, Cayo District, Placencia in 10 days!!!

Need itinerary advice for 10 days in belize.... Couple in 30s most interested in:

::the best snorkelling to be fouND
:: jungle /MAYAN ruins adventures
:: maybe even swimming with wharle sharks.
::some "Best beaches" time

We plan to go in early april around the full moon for whale sharks. any advuce on how to structure our time and logistics of travel? Ive been thinking:

:: fly int o Belize City and head to caya caulker for 3 days for snorkeling (3 days)
::water taxi and bus to mainland for cayo district? San Igancio? for ATM, cave tubing, ruins (3 days)
:: bus to plancencia to lay on beach and maybe do a whale shark snorkel trip, would also like to see glovers atoll for the day of snorkelling (4 days,

Than alas head home....any suggestion on routes, travel, order of itenerary, hotels, better options? We are open to great advice...Thank you!!

I'd plan your time in Placencia around the time you would be most likely to see whale sharks.

I don't know if Glover's is available as a day trip.

I'd try and put Caye Caulker last on your itinerary. it's so much closer to the airport. Unless you fly, you may have trouble making it from Placencia to BZE for your flight home on the same day.

If snorkeling is a major priority, consider South Water Caye (pricy) or Tobacco Caye for a couple fo days. They're both right on the reef.
