My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for 12 days in France this June. We are planning to visit Corsica (neither of us have been) for a few days at the start of our trip and then finish up for 5
My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for 12 days in France this June. We are planning to visit Corsica (neither of us have been) for a few days at the start of our trip and then finish up for 5 days in Paris (we have both been, but not recently).
Do you have recommendations for which part of Corsica to visit/ stay in? Should we plan to rent a car to get around the island? Is a week too long in Corsica? Should we plan to add a few days (e.g., in Provence) between Corsica and Paris? If so, is there a ferry or something that is convenient?
You can rent a car at Bastia airport at your arrival. Spent some days in north (Bastia, Calvi, Île Rousse,...), go to south for the following days (Porto Vecchio, Bonifacio, Sartène,...) and let the car at Ajaccio airport to go back to Paris.
But don't try to do too much : you could spent a lot of time on the roads...
