We are planning a group trip (6 couples) to Greece in September.  We'd be on a tour for the first 6 days inland and then heading over to Santorini for a couple days of sun and relaxation.  A couple of the group have seen recent reports of serious and dangerous riots in Athens.  Has anyone been there recently enough to have some advice?
Thanks!

As long as you stay away from the Parliament building if there's a demonstration going on you won't be affected.  And if there's a transportation strike they're usually mid-week so try to plan your moves to and from Santorini for Thursday-Tuesday.
