I finally bought my airfare to my trip to spain !!! I would spend 10 days flying to Barcelona out of Madrid
however I want to visit sevilla... so i was thinking 4 days in barcelona,3 days in madrid then sevilla (1or 2)
first I was thinking come back to madrid from sevilla the night before our flight the next morning
but our flight is at 12:30 so I was thinking should I stay in Sevilla and take an early train to madrid would I risk missing my flight..is this too crazy an idea are there direct trains from sevilla to madrid airport?? or I would need to tranfer..
Personally, I would come back the night before. I don't like having to rush around in the morning. Of course, the trains are usually on time and very efficient. The train takes 2.5 hours, so if you got on the 7 am train, you should be at Atocha by 9:30 and out to the airport by 10 or 10:30. It would make for a busy morning. Once you arrive at Atocha (Madrid) you would have to take either the Metro or the new Airport bus to Barajas, but I don't believe you can take a train directly to the airport.
I know I go to atocha to santa just to go from from madrid to sevilla
but I can figure out what station should I go in barcelona to go to madrid via renfe any suggestions I was thinking on renting a car to go from sevilla to madrid so we can stop in cordoba..... is this difficult ( parking , driving roads etc...) women traveling alone......
The train from Madrid to Seville stops in Cordoba, so you could take the train and get off. I imagine you'd have to buy separate legs for the individual trips, but it would certainly be convenient.
Sorry, I don't have any experience with Barcelona.
