i have about 10 days in spain..and am soo confused..cannot figure out what all to do : barcelona, madrid, ibiza, granada.. im not too much into art and architecture..so more looking forward to "doing"
I'm not sure that having an interest in art and architecture belong to "watching" and not in many cases to "doing," but that's a philosophical question...
On the other hand, if you would tell us what you like to "do," you will get many helpful suggestions. Is it hiking? eating regional foods? exploring castles and cathedrals? Attending sports events?
When will you be traveling? What are your interests and expectations of a trip to Spain and why are you going? I go to get away from my mother in law (amongst other things).
i am actually going for a conference and then have extended my stay for a week..
i would like to see natural beauty..would enjoy adventure sports, good food..try and soak the culture as much as i can..
am not a huge fan of architecture and art so its not on top of my list..would like to catch some soccer if i can ; i was also looking up running of the bull - the main event is in july..but is there anything in april as well..??
I think a lot depends on where you conference is being held and what airports you are flying in and out of. Windsurfing is very big along the southern coast. Food is good everywhere. At this stage you should pick up a few reliable guide books (they don't have to be the most recent editions) from your local public library and do some reading and formulate some sample itineraries. Then, check back here with questions so we can help you narrow things down.
