For various reasons, we are considering doing an organized group tour in Spain from Madrid to Andalusia for 4 days or so, including transportation, lodging, and tours. The rest of our trip will be on our own. Our friends used the tour company EAtours and were pleased. Does anyone know of any other companies based in Spain offering the same service?
Check out Untours at www.untours.com. They offer unique independent travel experiences to very interesting destinations, including the Andalusia region of Spain. Sign up for their brochure to explore in more details their destinations and travel packages. Alambl
Check the Internet. There are many of them. However, 4 days is not nearly enough time, if you want to do any sight-seeing. We had 8 days to do this and finally (much to our dismay) had to cut out going to Seville as there was just not enough time. Spain is a big country that takes time to get to the different cities-----bigger than most think it is. You will be on the road too much of the time.
Although not a four day tour, my wife and I joined 21 friends for a delightful 17 day venture in September 2010, through Spain and Portugal with Earthbound Expeditions, Bainbridge Island, WA. We have traveled with EB on three previous tours in Europe, each with no more than 20 to 23 people. Tour guides have been excellent and the itinerary such that only once or twice did we have one night stays, most being two or more nights in a location (reduces packing and unpacking) allowing us to savor the sights, food and sounds of the locale. I don't know if they offer shorter tours in Spain but they may have tours that include Spain as well as other countries. Check out their Spain tours on their web site at www.earthboundexpeditions.com.
