Yes!!! We just returned April 10, 2010 from a Med cruise on NCL Jade. We had a wonderful tour in Ephesus with Ephesus Deluxe. I highly recommend them. I will copy and paste the review I posted on Cruise Critic. Their website is www.ephesusdeluxe.com
We just returned from our 12 night cruise and we went with Ephesus Deluxe in Turkey. They were there waiting for us as soon as we got off the ship. Our group was there promptly and we made it to Virgin Mary's house before any of the buses. That was a wonderful experience. Next stop was Ephesus. What an incredible experience!!! Do NOT miss the terrace houses...WOW!! Then on to lunch. Yes, it was at a rug factory. The food was delicious. We had a brief demonstration on how the rugs were made. And a "soft" sales pitch but we never felt pressured to buy anything. I didn't mind the stop and I do not think anyone else in the party did either. Next stop was the museum. It is small and does not take long. St Johns Basilica is right up the street and so beautiful. We were able to get a few great pictures of the valley below.
Our guide was very knowledgable and professional. We hope to return to Turkey again in the near future. It is a GORGEOUS part of the world. We will definitely use Epheses Deluxe again without a second thought. They did an awesome job in communicating with me when planning the tour. They were also the only company to send me a "thank you" email once we returned home.
I also have to add this...we spoke with several other people who did private tours with other companies. They all felt pressured into buying local items, from pottery to rugs. I do not think any of the groups had a tour that solely focused on the tour the way our guide did.
This is what my husband had to add to my review...
My wife has done a wonderful job of reviewing our recent tour in Turkey with Ephesus deluxe. I only have a few comments to add... We were a group which included both young children and senior adults and both the tour guide and driver were exceptional in meeting the needs of EVERYONE. The amount of history and information were well paced and thorough. He was aware of our needs and made sure to point out restrooms and other areas of need throughout the day. At the start of the tour he confirmed our itinerary and explained the order of our day and the reasons why. we arrived at the Virgin Mary's house early, there were no other tour buses there, after a 30 to 45 minute visit, the parking lot was almost full as we were leaving. This type of knowledge and service continued throughout the day. He explained everything well, stopped frequently to explain what we were seeing and allow us to take pictures of the amazing sights. We were reassured regarding vendors prior to each stop and encouraged to let him know if we EVER felt uncomfortable or needed to leave. This includes the rug demonstration... he let us know that IF we ever wanted to leave to just let him know and WE would leave immediately. I have not experienced the other tour companies in Turkey, so i cannot make a direct comparison. However, I can convey that once we return to the ship and spoke with other passengers, none of the others seemed to have had as positive of an experience as we did. Many thanks to Ephesus Deluxe for such a positive contribution to our vacation.

Who was your guide....I would like to ask for him by name.
When requesting tour information, insist that they spend the entire time touring .... No stops at the leather factory or carpet shop, you will lose a minimum 1.5 hours on a shopping stop.
