In turn, India09, I'd appreciate your thoughts on "safaris" and safari companies for India.

2Afrika is well known in NYC. They seem to have some decent pricing and I might consider a trip with them some day. Lion World is in Canada and I have not used them, but a friend of mine did. My friend and her husband went to a Frommer seminar planning on picking out a European holiday and the presenter was so enthusiastic about a tremendous bargain in Kenya from Lion World that they booked it. Overall my friend and her husband were absolutely thrilled with the wildlife and the accommodations. They mentioned a few tactics up front that they did not care for such as a surcharge for the dates they wanted, which were primetime mid-Sept. But other than that, they were happy.
