The alcoholic beverages prices on Carnival ships are usually criticized by the average cruisers as "not moderate." They are pretty decent, considering the class of the vessels and the line's all-inclusiveness - dining, facilities, programs, not to forget the regularly scheduled renovations of venues and cabins. Can anyone suggest ships with cheaper booze on board?

Book an all inclusive, like Regent or Silver Seas (plus others), and the alcohol is included. You'e paying for it, of course, but not by the drink.

I am a beer drinker and got a good deal on NCL. Bucket a beer (6) gets you one free beer. I didn't find the alchohol prices too high. They even had the special export Guinness that was 7.5% alchohol instead of the usual 4%. Very tasty. I think the liquor bill for our week long trip was $150. Pretty reasonable.
