I would like to find affordable lesbian friendly/pet friendly travel ideas for the upper peninsula. We're hoping to see the aurora borealis, as well.

juells3-I don't know about gay friendly places in the UP but you might try northern Wisconsin(Balsam Lake area) because you can see the "Northern Lights" from there. It's a stunning sight!
