I am not much of a gambler, so I can't help you there, but I have been to both casinos and definitely prefer the shops and restaurants at the Mohegan Sun.

The good news for you is that they are only about 20 minutes, if that, apart so you could easily visit both and make up your own mind.

The best deals are had if you have player's cards for each casino. They e-mail you or mail you special offers. I also think that the "specialness" of the offer is based on the amount you play. We don't gamble much, but we still get offers from Foxwoods every now and then for $100 rooms during the week. I prefer the Foxwoods rooms over the Mohegan rooms. Foxwoods is a little more opulent, IMHO, as far as rooms go. However, I prefer Mohegan for the vast variety of restaurants and shopping. I think Mohegan is better for nightlife, but that is just my opinion. They also have a nice spa. Foxwoods' spa is also nice.

I like Mohegan better, especially for the restaurants and the nightlife. I thinks it is more crowded however.
