I will be flying into MCI prior to heading out to Manhattan KS. I was shocked how expensive the rental cars are. Are there any tips for rendering a lower priced car? Rental car places in area not charging the usual airport taxes with a shuttle to the airport, etc?

I completely agree that rental car prices are soaring by the day. The other night I went to the airport to see off my girlfriend. The cabbied asked me for 125$ from Seattle Bellevue to the airport. That is way too high guys!!
I agree there should be atleast shuttle services to the airport which charge reasonably.Surprised
