Shopping was good in the historic downtown. Ladies, if you like shoes, try If the Shoe Fits on Commercial St.; Reish's is another good shoe store; my husband found his cowboy boots there. We also shopped Branson Landing, which is newer and had the standard mall fare, such as JJill, Chico's, etc.; however, tasty Mexican food in a nice setting can be found at Laredo Cantina there. The margaritas are super, and their guacamole is made at the diners' tables. Mazzio's is great for pizza and salad, dining in and takeout. 

Bransonians are down to earth and very friendly. 

Branson's a very nice place for a few days' getaway; we saw lots of seniors and people with kids too.
