I am trying to put together a romantic weekend for my husband for his Christmas present. I am in the Cleveland area and will travel up to 4-5 hours one way. Trying to find a nice place to stay along with local activities. Any ideas????

Have you and your husband ever been to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater? The house and grounds are quite gorgeous and the architecture of the house was amazing. There are also a ton of lovely bed and breakfasts in the Laurel Highlands area as well. You mentioned you're in Cleveland. Have you been to Pittsburgh recently? The Fairmont Hotel recently opened in the redesigned and refurbished Market Square area, I haven't stayed there yet but the building is stunning! You could go out to a nice restaurant, catch a show or symphony concert. The ice skating rink at PPG is also open and a nice romantic activity to do at night.
