Just returned from a four night stay on Block Island.  What a joy! We stayed at the Hotel Manisses in a beautiful room with giant bathroom and jacuzzi.  Breakfast buffet was served each day

Just returned from a four night stay on Block Island. What a joy! We stayed at the Hotel Manisses in a beautiful room with giant bathroom and jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet was served each day at the 1661 INN a short walk up the street overlooking the ocean.
In the late afternoon we enjoyed sipping wine and snacks also at the 1161 INN.

Recommend lunch at the BeacHead and the OAR overlooking the marina. Dinner at the Manisses was excellent. Very charming.

Walked around the town and shopped. Hiked out to the Lighhouses (there are two on the Island). Lots of hikers and bike riders enjoying the days. A great place to relax and refresh one's soul.
