Hit the coastal areas of Warwick and East Greenwich for some nice shots of boats. A good view is from the Harborside restaurant in EG, looking across the Cove to Goddard Park. It is a wooded park with a strand of beach and there is usually a sailboat or two moored there as well. Of course the classic spots in RI are in Narragansett, at Point Judith, and in Newport.

I'm not sure if I've got the right name, but I remember a little village in CT right after Mystic...Stonington? that was pretty darn quaint.

Wickford Harbor in RI is nice too.
