need a place to stay. try erik the red B&B. 6 eriksgata reykjavik 101. in the shadow of the catherdal. newly remodled in 2000. friendly people (arent all icelanders friendly???) great location ---

I just came back from a 4 day trip to Iceland and we stayed at Eric the Red. Location is fabolous, in the center of town but in a quiet street, and close to the bus station. The place is cozy, clean and friendly. Great breakfast and above all great help and advice from Runar the owner, which must be the nicest guy in Iceland.
