Adelaide is a laid-back city. It's not jampacked with tourist-oriented attractions like some of the larger state capitals, though The Migration Museum is easily one of the best museums in Australia. The best way to enjoy this pleasant city is to take things nice and easy. Walk beside the River Torrens, ride the tram to the beachside suburb of Glenelg, and spend the evenings sipping wine and sampling some of the country's best alfresco dining.
