Although Agadir has plenty of accommodations, the choice becomes very limited when looking for that often rare combination of good value, good service, and good rooms. The location of accommodations in the city is influenced by the standard. Most inexpensive hotels are located a 20-minute walk from the beach in the area known as Nouvelle Talborjt; these are of a very low standard. My one inexpensive recommendation, below, bucks the trend with a very convenient location to both the beach and city center, and is of a good standard. Many independent travelers struggle to find midrange accommodation that isn't 30 years old and living off its past glory.
Staying in a tourist apartment, or residence, can be a good option. There are quite a few located in the city center and can be a good value, although the majority are getting a bit faded around the edges. Agadir's top-end beachfront resorts have designed themselves around individual, all-inclusive packages marketed toward particular nationalities. The two that I have recommended are known for their experience with English-speaking holidaymakers.
Out of peak season (Christmas/New Year, Easter, and July-Aug), accommodations in Agadir are rarely full and often offer up to a 40% discount.
