Opened in 1995 and renovated in 2004, this four-story beachfront complex has more than 200 rooms and suites and is a popular all-inclusive choice for English-speaking travelers. Package tours aside, this is a pleasant place to spend a holiday and offers a plethora of amenities that includes restaurants, bars (including a pool bar in summer), a recently renovated nightclub, a massive heated pool, and a thalassotherapy center. They also have their own private beach with a watersports center and 27-hole golf course 7km (4 1/3 miles) away. Parents will love the kids' Mini-Club; it's open daily from 9am to noon and 3 to 5pm, for kids ages 4 to 12, and offers activities such as table tennis, basketball, boules, swimming, and sailing. The large, modern rooms are accessed by several interior courtyards and come with a choice of views. And, unusual for this standard, a single rate is offered for solo travelers. A range of payment options allows you to go from room-only to all-inclusive. The 1.2-hectare (3-acre) property is a 30-minute walk from the city center, and petits taxis are always waiting outside.
