Opened in 2013, Hôtel Les Lodges Sainte-Victoire’s gourmet restaurant is headed up by one of the Riviera’s super chefs, Mathias Dandine. In 2014 the venue was awarded its first Michelin star. Little wonder: delicious dishes are classically French, yet with an innovative twist—such as line-caught turbot steeped in ginger and coriander, or tender asparagus paired with Corsican brousse cheese and black truffles. The restaurant and hotel (double rooms from 220€ to 390€) are set in within Mediterranean gardens at the foot of Mont Sainte-Victoire, around a ten-minute drive east of central Aix.
