The Desmond ReviewThis large hotel and conference center is designed to look like a village of sorts, which it succeeds at in a Disneyesque kind of way. Bellboys are even dressed in faux-Colonial get-ups. But it's actually a pretty good place to stay, with good-size and comfortable rooms with four-poster canopy beds, 18th-century replica furnishings, and lots of floral prints.
