One of the most luxurious hotel resorts in the area opens onto a good sandy beach, lying 4km (2 1/2 miles) from the center of Albufeira. This posh resort offers standard double rooms or else luxurious apartment suites. Some of these suites are ideal for single or double clients, though larger families can rent two- or three-bedroom suites as well. Windows in these accommodations open either onto the Atlantic or else a well-landscaped garden. Bedrooms are spacious and beautifully furnished, each with a tiled modern bathroom. The most luxurious units contain kitchenettes and a heated Jacuzzi on their private terraces.

The main restaurant, Real, serves buffet-style meals from breakfast to dinner, but we prefer Le Club with its superb Italian cuisine, plus international specialties. The spa, with its range of treatments using seawater, is one of the best along the coast, with a team of hydrotherapists, beauticians, masseurs, and fitness trainers. The hotel is also one of the best on the Algarve for families with children, with a kiddie center with trained professionals, plus many facilities such as small pools just for the kids.
