Planning a Trip

Getting There -- The bus station (no phone) is located at C. Paravachasca and Nieto. Every 15 minutes, buses travel from Córdoba. The journey takes 1 hour and cost $1 (55p). Sarmiento (tel. 351/425-5541) and Sierras de Calamuchita (tel. 351/422-6080) are two companies worth investigating. The latter runs service farther south to Villa General Belgrano.

Visitor Information -- The tourist office is located at the clock tower, Avenida del Tajamar 1 (tel. 3547/428-128; www.altagracia.gov.ar). It's open daily from 8am until noon.
