The successful initiator of the marriage between classic and modern culinary traditions, Chef Antonio Dipino offers a seasonal menu with both elaborate and simple dishes prepared only with the freshest local ingredients. Great attention is paid to service and setting, and you'll be surrounded by sober elegance in the dining hall of this 12th-century palazzo. Go with the tasting menu, or order a la carte: The seaweed fritters are excellent, followed by tubetti di Gragnano al ragù di zuppa di pesce (short pasta in a seafood sauce) and a superb pezzogna (fresh local fish). Those who prefer meat may favor ziti di Torre Annunziata ripieni di carne alla Genovese (pasta tubes filled with beef). The desserts and the wine list are on par with the rest of the menu.
