This is the most luxurious hotel in Amalfi, offering great, family-run service and a superb location hanging onto a cliff surrounded by terraces and gardens. The public spaces include a private beach (which you can reach by elevator or a winding garden path), a seawater swimming pool with a sun deck, a gym, a bar, an open-air restaurant serving very good food, luscious gardens, and citrus groves. Guest rooms are large and decorated in a refined manner, each with an antique piece among the furnishings, and luxurious bathrooms. Some of the suites are absolutely fantastic -- Follia Amalfitana and Casa dell'Arancio, in particular. They are actually luxurious bungalows immersed in a citrus grove, with a private garden and a small pool.
