In an area known as Ottoville west of the airport, this plantation-style property would be terrific were it beside a beach instead of this inland setting. You won't be without a place to swim and sun here, for a white-marble floor leads through the two-story reception area to an outdoor pool in a courtyard to the rear of the three-story, stucco building. Guest quarters include Taupou rooms with two double beds, Manaia rooms with king-size beds, Maitai suites with king-size beds and dining tables, and Plaza suites with a separate bedroom. Some have patios or balconies. Teak furniture and sleigh or four-poster beds lend a bit of elegance throughout. The Equator restaurant and bar reside in a separate building.
