Beamed and paneled in well-aged oak and graced with etched-glass panels and stained-glass skylights, this 100-plus-year-old Art Nouveau landmark (not to be mistaken for the equally notable Café Schiller next door) is a splendid sight. Paintings by the artist who built the hotel, Frits Schiller, adorn the walls. Former chefs supplied the restaurant with the exact recipes and techniques used in the old days. On the classic menu, you'll find everything from stewed eel and potato-and-cabbage casserole to T-bone steak, roast leg of lamb with mint sauce, and spaghetti Bolognese. A Breton crustacean and shellfish buffet is served daily, featuring lobster, oysters, crab, mussels, and more.
