Frommer's Review
This hotel, in a Victorian house across from the Rijksmuseum's rear, is ideal for museum-goers on a budget. The breakfast room, which has numerous stained-glass windows, commands an excellent view of the museum. Proprietor Robin de Jong filled guest rooms with eclectic furniture that spans from the 1930s (think English wicker) to the 1950s. Note that there's no elevator and the staircase up to reception is quite steep.
