Built on the site of an ancient Arawak village and only minutes from beautiful Shoal Bay Beach, this comfortable and inviting family-run hotel is a good value (for pricey Anguilla, anyway), especially during the summer months. It opens onto views of Scilly Cay and Captains Ridge. It offers studios and one-bedroom suites in octagonal-shaped buildings. Beachfront units are built in the style of a re-created Amerindian village and are equipped with wet bars and beverage makers, plus large balconies or terraces. Furnishings are comfortable and include king-size beds, plus small bathrooms, each with a shower.
The rather formal restaurant serves good Continental and Caribbean cuisine.
