Frommer's Review
Nothing else on Anguilla looks like architect Myron Goldfinger's Covecastles: This cluster of post-modernist buildings has sleek white exteriors interrupted by smooth curves, jagged triangles, and cylinders -- Architectural Digest has featured the resort not once but twice. Rumor has it that Bill, Hill, and Chelsea have stayed here. The resort sits on a spectacular stretch of beach on Shoal Bay West, and each unit has sea views; many have private pools. The large bedrooms have twin or king-size beds with hand-embroidered linens and equally sizable, stylish bathrooms. Interiors have cathedral ceilings; louvered doors and enormous picture windows crafted from Brazilian walnut; terra-cotta tiles; comfortably oversize rattan and wicker furniture; a fully equipped, state-of-the-art kitchen; and even a hammock or two.
The resort's French chef, Dominique Thevenet, will prepare pretty much whatever you want in Covecastles' central dining room (open to the public) overlooking the beach or, with some advance notice, in your own quarters.
Facilities:
Restaurant; tennis court; aerobics; deep-sea fishing; glass-bottom boat excursions; kayaks; snorkeling; Sunfish sailboats; windsurfing; bicycles; car rental; secretarial service; room service; massage; babysitting; laundry service

| 0 stars | Frommer's Recommended | |
| 1 stars | Frommer's Highly Recommended | |
| 2 stars | Frommer's Very Highly Recommended | |
| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
