Annapolis Marriott Waterfront ReviewThe only waterfront hotel in Annapolis, and the only one with boat docks for guest use, this six-story property attracts boaters and boat lovers. It sits in the middle of all the action, beside the City Dock overlooking Ego Alley and Spa Creek. Guest rooms, in the process of being updated in late 2007 and early 2008, are enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows; about three-quarters of the rooms have water views or waterfront balconies, while 20 look right out over the water. Two rooms have Jacuzzis. Most rooms have pullout chair beds. "Pure" rooms have been designed for those with allergies and have special bedding and air filters, and are treated to reduce allergens. Historical photographs and ship models, including Old Ironsides and Hollywood's African Queen, adorn the public spaces.
