Set in a cozy, 1884 brick building that was once a bank (hence the bars on the windows), Annapolis’ only pub has an excellent selection of craft beers and a way with comfort food—mother of owner Brian Keevil invented “Potachos,” an addictive hybrid of fries and nachos (deep fried lattice potatoes are smothered in melted cheese, tomatoes, and green peppers served with sour cream and salsa). Free Wi-Fi, a solid kids menu and the chance to eat in the “smallest pub in Nova Scotia” are other reasons to take a meal—or a pint—here.
