This is one of Antigua's most laid-back all-inclusives, with a handful of silky beaches and comfortably rustic rooms in pastel cottages. Crowning a bluff on the island's quiet west coast, Cocobay is also one of the island's most competitive all-inclusives, price-wise, especially if you can travel in the off-season (here, mid-April to mid-Dec). Further, if you can live without air-conditioning and sea views, the Standard Cottage doubles are an especially good deal, particularly in light of the fact that these, the resort's most basic units, enjoy the same all-inclusive perks of the pricier rooms. All accommodations have private verandas with Adirondack chairs and hammocks and are outfitted with good bedding and Egyptian-cotton sheets (Premium Waterfront Suites have pillow-top mattresses). Deluxe Pool Cottages have private plunge pools and the spacious Plantation House units (sleeping four), up on the hillside, come with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two verandas. The freshly renovated Premium Waterfront Suites (sleeping two) have the best location, with oceanfront views, double-ended slipper bathtubs, and private plunge pools. Cocobay has one of the island's best resort restaurants in Sheer Rocks, with gorgeous sunset views from its cliffside perch. Note that rooms have no TVs or radios, and Internet access costs extra.
