Only steps away from the Grote Markt, this comfortable hotel with an attentive staff combines the classical elegance of a 16th-century mansion with plush, modern furnishings. The spacious rooms are individually decorated in a style that's a modern take on old-fashioned coziness, and from some of them you can see the cathedral steeple. Shady rooms are perked up with bright, tropical colors and sunny rooms have more muted, pastel tones. Bathrooms are not large but have marble fittings. Some of the rooms open onto an enclosed garden patio at the rear with an original colonnade, where breakfast is served in the summer; at other times you breakfast in an elegant dining room with a marble fireplace.
