This newer option offers wonderful views from each of its spacious individual cabins. The cabins are arranged in two parallel rows. My favorites are nos. 1 and 2, at the far end of the higher row. All have varnished wood walls, heavy wood beds, and large bathrooms, as well as a small front porch with a bench seat or a couple of chairs. They come with one king or two queen-size beds. Some offer views of the volcano from the bed, and a few come with bathtubs. The bedding has high thread-count cotton sheets and soft down pillows. The hotel is set back from the road a bit, with a small patch of forest on site. The pool sits on a high spot on the property with a great view of the volcano, and there's a large heated Jacuzzi next to it.
