Frommer's Review
It's a few kilometers outside town on a busy avenue in the district called Paucarpata, so you'll need to grab a taxi to get to this classic open-air restaurant. Elegantly set amid beautiful gardens and stunning views of snowcapped El Misti from the upper deck, it's open only for lunch (although you could also squeeze in an early dinner at 5 or 6pm). Most encouraging is how popular it is not only among tourists, but also among locals. In fact, it's the restaurant that seems most highly recommended to foreigners by Arequipeños. It serves large portions of classic Peruvian and Arequipeño dishes, such as cuy, adobo, and ceviche, but they're more carefully prepared here than in many other comida típica restaurants. A good starter is combination fried cheese and fried yuca with picante sauce and salsa verde. The prices are very affordable for such an elegant place.
