Shopping

The best way to get an overview of the diversity of Arosa's shops is to stroll up and down its main street, Poststrasse. If you're looking for equipment or clothing that will keep you competitive in this sports-conscious town, head for Sprecher Sports, Poststrasse (tel. 081/377-12-06); Carmena Sport, Poststrasse (tel. 081/377-12-05); or Schatz Sport, Poststrasse (tel. 081/377-18-14), near the Hotel Kulm. If it's Grisons souvenirs you're looking for, head for Vital, Poststrasse (tel. 081/377-12-77). The best bet for a winning mixture of books (mostly in German, but with some in English and French) and Grisons-inspired souvenirs and gift items is Banker, Oberseeplatz (tel. 081/377-16-90). Other than that, your best bet is to simply wander along either side of the street.
